Areas of Responsibility:

  • Your Role – International, Challenging and Future Oriented 
  • As Business Development Consultant with a strong technical background within Siemens Digital Industries Vertical Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for the solution business development activities in the Food & Beverage industry in your assigned regions in ASEAN and focusing on 3 key areas’: Regional Development, main focus on Project Development and Account Development.
  • Be the Trusted ASEAN advisor / consultant / ambassador to the Regional company and the local area and vertical sales colleagues
  • Advocates and drives Sales & Business Development activities, for the DI portfolio in F&B, with a focus on solutions business as an enabler
  • Supports planning, implementation, and reporting of the local business targets for all relevant KPIs
  • Supports Sales & Proposal teams to select the right products / solutions, standards, delivery model, ensuring successful projects. 
  • Drives & coordinates the bidding process for strategic must-win projects.
  • Analyses local strategic trends and developments in the F&B industry
  • Supports developing Regional Marketing plan
  • You will act as an entrepreneur, providing proactive extended technical & sales support and advising customers and your colleagues in ASEAN  with best-practices and benchmark approaches, to position Siemens as a market-competent partner in the F&B Industries. You must be able to pair F&B process knowledge with digital applications, manufacturing execution systems, and an automation centric portfolio of solutions to deliver actionable steps in the prospect to customer conversion process to increase Siemens Digital Industries market share.
Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!
  • Preferably, experience in F&B manufacturing execution and the automation market in an Engineering, Business Development or Sales position with strong business mindset and technical expertise.
  • A master’s degree in Biotech, Chemical, Electrical or Computer Engineering from reputable University or College.
  • Entrepreneurship, consultative selling approach knowing the industry and the client key issues and business drivers
  • Subject matter expertise of the F&B market segments within Manufacturing and R&D.
  • Emerging Digital Application Trends including Cloud Technologies, Software as a Service Concepts, Digital Process Twins, Apps for Manufacturing, Simulation, and networking/ Cyber/OT concepts.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to present effectively in person or using remote media tools. 
  • Good team player and communicator with entrepreneurial spirit. Ability to work with and guide international working teams located at several locations.
  • Commercial awareness in assessing financial and contractual viability of potential work.
  • Networker, being able to develop and maintain a network of key contacts within the decision-making ranks related the abovementioned solutions.
  • Organized methodical approach, able to set and work towards clearly defined targets, able to work effectively in occasionally intense environment. Result & quality-oriented approach
  • International / intercultural experiences. International travel on a regular base required
  • Excellence language skills: fluent in speaking and writing English. Further lingual skills are highly appreciated.
