Staff Systems Engineer (Code Compliance/Safety Engineer focused)

As a Staff Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for performing complex interpretation and design to code compliance standards for In-vitro Diagnostics products. You will work with R&D, CPE and our external testing lab to make sure our products comply with the latest standards. You will be responsible for writing reports, protocols, and memos as necessary to document code compliance to necessary standards. This position reports into the Reliability, Code Compliance, and Safety Risk Management group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Compliance Engineer on multiple projects
  • FCC Part-15, CISPR 11, 61326)
  • EMC Testing and Certification
  • Writing and releasing Design History Reports
  • EMC Compliance Process Improvements

Required Education, Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • BA in engineering or related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with code compliance standards for WiFi, Bluetooth.
  • EMC experience and understanding of FCC Part-15, CISPR 11, 61326 and all compliance worldwide related to comply with such standards.
  • Experience with RED directive.
  • Must be able to handle multiple priorities.
  • Must be able to perform EMC testing.
  • Worldwide labeling requirements for standards above preferred.
  • EMC Design experience preferred.
