We have an exciting opportunity available for a motivated, responsible, and experienced Customer Service and Logistics Coordinator to join our team based in Melbourne, supporting our New Zealand customers.

The primary function of this role will be to plan and coordinate activities for the service operations and delivery in New Zealand including service coordination and logistics tasks. The successful candidate will be required to work rotational shifts between the hours of 5:45am to 4:00pm as well as occasional weekends to support the New Zealand business.

You will have the freedom to work flexibly with a combination of work from home and attendance at our office, soon to be located in Hawthorn East.

Your mission and responsibilities:

  • Utilising Siemens Business Conduct guidelines, follow call policies ,fulfilment procedures to log, update, fulfil and close customer requests within our Service Management System(s).
  • Escalate customer complaints to Service Manager or General Management as appropriate.
  • Effectively evaluate inbound transactions to ensure accurate assessment and best resolution, for each situation, is provided to the Customer.
  • Proactive planning and management of planned tasks for field-based staff.
  • Make outbound calls to inform Field Service Technicians of work schedules and to keep Customers informed of work order progress.
  • Collaborate with our warehousing and logistics partners to ensure efficient and effective delivery of spare parts and consumables into and around New Zealand
  • Provide a limited help desk facility to deliver immediate assistance to Customer enquiries / faults based on training, reference notes and tools.
  • Use relationship management skills to effectively liaise with Customers, Support  Engineers, Field Service Technicians, Sub-Contractors, other Service Coordinators, other Siemens Departments and Third-Party Suppliers.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • 2-5 years of experience in customer related role in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can successfully manage competing priorities while achieving key performance indicators and maintaining a high level of quality.
  • You have good PC skills (MS Office software like Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with SAP will be viewed favourably
  • You can professionally investigate and respond to requests in a timely manner.
  • You have strong communication skills and are adaptable to change.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills, interact favourably with others and skilled at maintaining positive relationships while working to resolve problems and maintaining a high level of professional integrity.
  • You are equally capable and happy working independently or as part of a team. You are willing to work different shifts when needed. 

You must be able to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia.
