What you will do for Russelectric:

As a Fabrication Planner with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will schedule materials for our fabrication shop to our assembly department. Your focus will be delivery reliability, asset management, and effective communication across the production area. Your work will help bring to market specialized equipment that makes the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will provide solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Switchgear and After-Market Master Scheduler/Planner to properly plan metal fabrication.
  • Help create list of production orders to distribute to the fabrication floor.
  • Keep track of completion of production orders.
  • Confirm fabrication production orders in SAP.
  • Ensure delivery of fabricated parts to the production team for assembly.
  • Create shortage reports and drive them to completion
  • Maintain SAP accuracy

Qualifications:

  • This position requires employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption
  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to travel 5%
  • Previous experience or training in a fabrication facility required, with proven ability to read and understand prints for successful metal fabrication delivery
  • Experience in building reports preferred
  • Proficiency with SAP preferred
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English required
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills required
  • Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization
