Building Products International

The role will continue establish the local presence for the Building Products division in Israel. In close collaboration with the Headquarter based in Switzerland, he/she will define strategic and operational sales/technical actions to achieve the planned growth and continuously increase the market share. Focus will be to positively influence specifiers that Siemens systems and products are specified in tenders and Siemens becomes the supplier of choice.

The position reports to the building products headquarter in Switzerland.

Key tasks:

  • Generate pull at specifiers/planners
  • Convince defined accounts/specifiers according to agreed target customer list to make Siemens preferred supplier
  • Must win projects with assigned specifiers
  • Support roll-out of new product launches and/or promotion campaigns
  • Identify market and customer opportunities
  • Provide technical support to VAPs
  • Technical product presentations at various stakeholders

Competences and Skills:

  • A deep knowledge of specific needs of influencer in the building technology field (Specifier, Planner, Consultants) is required
  • Expert HVAC product and application know how, fire safety knowledge is an advantage
  • Skills to identify and develop new customers and opportunities
  • Good understanding of value selling
  • Presentation techniques

Qualification

  • completed electrical/electronic engineering degree
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in a senior technical advisor role

Interface and support:

  • Reports directly to Senior Sales Manager for Israel based in BP Global HQ in Switzerland
  • Familiar and able to work in matrix organization
  • Coordinates efforts with local SI Head of RC Israel, possibly with RSS units involved in local project business
