The newly established RSS (Regional Solutions and Service) global eMobility and grid edge business team is looking for a motivated Portfolio Manager for e-Mobility in order to develop and implement new standardized portfolio for North America combining e-charging hardware, software, financing, building integration, energy management and service support to meet the needs of our customers. You will work in strong collaboration with regional business development teams and act as go-to-person for internal Siemens colleagues.

The Job

  • Develop new solution and service offerings, standardize the portfolio and define the go-to-market and implementation strategy
  • Involve with customers, identify and structure customer’s metrics to create a consistent e-Mobility customer journey
  • Evaluate new market requirements, translate into innovative solution and service models and advance the portfolio in the context of smart buildings and grid edge
  • Identify optimal partnerships with internal & external eMobility & grid edge technology providers to provide comprehensive solutions & services for customer segments
  • Act as single point of contact and support of joint business development activities with our colleagues from products’ Business Units within Siemens
  • Track the implementation of go-to-market and portfolio in strong collaboration with the local team, including country roadmaps, regional adaptation and gap analysis
  • Develop and execute trainings of organization to closely support countries/sales
  • Deploy strong stakeholder management, involve with regional teams and country organization to establish and govern e-Mobility community

What you bring along

 Knowledge / experience:

  • Experience within the area of e-Mobility/e-Charging and in portfolio management is the most important requirement of this role. Knowledge about building technologies and grid edge would be ideal
  • Degree in electrical engineering or computer science
  • Familiar with digitalization topics such as cloud platforms, IoT solution, remote operations and software development

Soft skills:

  • Proven track record to work with and across different levels of the organization in a collaborative spirit and ability to communicate optimally in writing and speaking.
  • Curiosity and willingness/desire to learn about different areas of technology
  • A high degree of self-motivation and quick apprehension of fast paced market - Understanding of the sales and service process and methodologies is a plus
  • The readiness for global travels and the willingness to bridge time differences when it comes to global collaboration is something we expect
