What will you do?

In this role, you will manage supply base for total Purchase Volume of assigned Commodity. Align material strategies with internal business requirement to optimize supply chain performance focused on productivity, quality, and availability. Deliver sustainable results to improve Siemens bottom & top line.

  • Negotiate Master Procurement Agreement, including pricing, terms & conditions, payment terms in alignment with RCM.
  • Commodity Strategy
  • Commodity oversight of CNI (PPC and MCP) projects. Drive/Monitor project progress and cost savings implementation.
  • Assist and partner concern in negotiations for Logistics and Shipping Agreement, including consigned inventory, vendor managed inventory.
  • Responsible for Overall Supplier Management and supplier relationship management. Participate in Supplier Qualification, FPL, annual supplier evaluation, & supplier development

What will you need to succeed?

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of proven experience as a buyer, commodity buyer or Project Manager
  • Basic financial knowledge & analysis: Ex. Loss of economies analysis.
  • Advanced Knowledge of ERP Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient English
  • Nice to have: Production technology knowledge (plastics, metals, etc.)
  • Communication skills, conflict management
  • Negotiation skills
