This position provides systems analysis, project and test management, and leading requirement workshop sessions for business and IT.  Centered on regional SAP ECC 6.0 today, the person filling this role will help take us to a new generation of SAP technology as part of a global team. The candidate should have high level of experience and expertise of all aspects of the SAP CO module and demonstrate a strong customer service attitude. The candidate should also be results-oriented, work well within a team and act successfully as a project manager.

The position reports to the Head of SAP Finance and Controlling.  The team consists of 16 IT professionals and a team of 25 from our IT services partner. The job position is located in Malvern (PA).

Responsibilities:

  

  • Partner with key business contacts to create requirements and functional specifications for complex SAP
  • developments
  • Develop test cases and manage test activities
  • Design new harmonized Controlling processes and best practice SAP implementation together with
  • Business and IT
  • Collaborate and manage various external suppliers
  • Lead the implementation of complex solutions across SAP platforms and other systems
  • Collaboration with other application teams, Basis & Security teams and the Service Desk team
  • Act as Project Manager

       

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance, Business Administration, or similar
  • technical proficiency.
  • 5 to 10 years SAP CO (Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Profitability
  • Analysis, Project System, WIP/Results Analysis, Financial Closing and Settlement Process)
  • Experience.
  • Expert understanding of the SAP Order to Cash process flow and the ability to learn complex
  • Healthineers business processes and apply them to our SAP systems.
  • Very good experience in CO integration points with other SAP modules like FI, SD, MM and CS
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for IT systems (e.g., FDA 21 CFR Part 11, IT System Validation,
  • IT general controls).
  • Strong knowledge and work experience within SAP to design the business reporting requirements
  • (Balance sheet, Revenue, Costs and Full P&L) and align the organizational elements and
  • profitability characteristics to support the reporting needs.
  • Exposure to other areas like General / Special ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts receivable,
  • & Fixed Assets.
  • Participated in several ERP implementations and SAP upgrades.
  • Must also have strong production support experience
  • 10% domestic and international travel (Germany), related to projects.
  • Applicant should be willing to relocate to the Malvern, PA area.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • Master’s Degree
  • CPA or CMA would be a plus
  • Knowledge of business processes within the medical device industry
  • S4/HANA experience in integration with external applications through PI, Openlink etc
