Join our team as “Legal Entity Operations Manager EMEA” from our office in Katowice, Poland or any of our other Siemens locations within Poland. We consider a mix between working remotely from home and meet with the team in the office.

Within the EMEA Legal Entity Operations Team we are closely aligning within the broader DI SW Finance organization to successfully drive the transformation into a SaaS company and to strive for constant collaboration with internal and external business partners and government authorities with a high focus on customer collaboration to meet their needs today and in the future. The special project role will focus on the following topics:

  • Legal Entity Operations Management

Drive and implement legal entity operational topics across all 57 legal entities within EMEA. Coordinate and partner with local Finance organizations to ensure successful implementation within boundaries of country laws and regulations.

  • M&A / Merger projects

Coordination of Legal entity mergers with local Finance organizations under close alignment with the IPE team and other organizations and functions across the Zone. This along with the coordination and execution of post-merger activities will be a major part of this role.

  • Finance Government Funding Management

Implement and track Funding Mechanism of EU and national funding authorities in alignment with the Government Grant Project Team and business partners from Segments and GSCS organizations as well as external advisors.

  • Data, Reporting and Process function

Focus on efficiency and insight gains that come from our digitalization and process improvement initiatives. Close collaboration with the “Digital Enablement” team at global level to drive and execute such initiatives within the EMEA Zone.

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • Qualified Accountant or equivalent with very good knowledge of IFRS and local financial reporting requirements within EMEA
  • Good understanding of M&A and integration activities
  • Ability to communicate to senior levels in local countries
  • Ability to partner with various business functions
  • Ability to understand complex topics and dependencies
  • Detailed analytical skills
  • Project management skills
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and good knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP
  • Experience with Management Reporting tools such as Hyperion/Essbase are a plus
