Software Engineer - Cloud CAD App Capability Dev

Job Description:

Xcelerator as a Service provides unprecedented access to the cloud and is scalable and flexible to meet our customers’ specific business needs. CAD being at the core of Siemens Xcelerator as Service program, to accelerate and join our global CAD application capabilities development under SaaS, we intend to form a new development team with our NX development team at Pune. We are looking for software engineers who at the new Cloud CAD App Capability Dev at Pune PES.

Work to deliver projects in Cloud/SaaS CAD applications domain. Review of design and code of the projects with a key focus on user experience, maintainability, extendibility and quality of the delivered projects.
Work in close collaboration with other members of the team and other teams following a formal Agile process. Work with domain experts from other NX development teams as needed for complex changes at interfaces, core applications and architecture layers. Define and document best practices and strategies providing consulting and training to other application specific teams to deliver more core CAD applications to cloud CAD initiative.  

Skills and Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in CAD application software development. Higher experience no bar and will be recruited at appropriate position. Candidates with NX development background or industry experience of SaaS/Cloud development in CAD domain will be added advantage.
• However, Fresh Masters students from top engineering universities with knowledge of CAD software will be considered as freshers with project /research experience in CAD or Cloud CAD applications or Web/Cloud UX.
• Senior experienced developers with core CAD development experience and good understanding of a CAD customer requirements can be considered for additional role of Product Owners in an agile team
• Software developers with experience is agile development and some experience of SaaS CAD development background will be preferred.
• Must have a strong knowledge of C++, advanced data structures, object-oriented analysis, and design
• Ability to continually improve and learn new areas
• Good inter-personal skill and technical conflict management skill.

• Ability to work well in a team. Easy to get along with in a collaborative development environment
