While Strategy, Value, and Risk Management set the course for business transformation; other disciplines enable the transformation process. Business Transformation Management incorporates topics such as culture, vision, and standards. It orchestrates work streams involved in business transformation projects.

Organizations should appoint a Transformation Manager who has the ability and authority to manage the overall transformation and act as a key advisor to the Executive Steering Committee. 

Besides managing the vision and the value of the transformation, the Transformation Manager needs to be empowered to make strategic decisions in consultation with the Steering Committee during the whole life of the transformation. 

While the Transformation Manager will depend heavily on the Program Manager, ultimately, both are responsible for turning the transformation strategy into reality and achieving the outcomes agreed with the Executive Steering Committee in the business case.

We are looking for APAC Services Associate Manager based in Singapore, who can drive transformation programs with results.

  • As a APAC Services Associate Manager, you drive the Mendix App Factory initiatives across the clients verticals to achieve the business transformation and create direct results.
  • You are able to engage with Digital transformation / innovation leaders to include low-code in the Vision and Mission of our Customers.
  • You are able to engage on an Enterprise Architecture level to drive the change to position low-code; resulting in the clear use of Mendix increasing time to market,  operational efficiency, and innovation while being able to reduce operating costs dramatically at the same time.
  • Ensure that the Clients transformation program must position Mendix in the co-creation processes with the business supporting a capability program within the customer’s organization.
  • You are able to remove impediments and address the right ‘pain points’ that need attention or need to be solved.
  • Assess current RAD maturity of the organization and drive clients toward desired goals
  • You are the lead representative to a customer of an Mendix App Factory (Enablement) team. This team of 6-8 experts on UX/UI, Value, Architectural Solutioning, Expert Developers, and DevOps.
  • You will execute program plans within assigned budgets/resources and manage the deliverable outcomes of each workstream. Oversee allocated key projects, actively engaging to review effective Services delivery in line with business guidelines and monitor customer satisfaction. Manage personnel decisions such as recruitment, training and development, performance management, etc., in line with relevant regulations for area of responsibility. 
  • You will lead and enable our customers teams and/or Partners in digital transformation, so they can be self-sufficient in a year. (Mostly in 18-20 Weeks). This includes driving best practices with customer teams. 
  • As an individual contributor able to influence Mendix adoption, resulting in expansion and services revenue. Influence/guide lead developers towards desired application outcomes. 
  • Using consultative techniques able to drive applications portfolio and involve BDM for new business opportunities across the client verticals.
  • Implement solutions to business and technology challenges and recommend creative approaches to solving clients’ business problems using the App Factory Framework and methodologies.
  • Lead our clients through their digital transformation – providing thought leadership, strategy, and guidance to develop and execute their transformation plans using the App Factory Framework and methodologies.
  • Manage and deliver the creation of a client’s Mendix Center of Excellence; leveraging agile to drive sustainable implementation.
  • Design and execute methodologies to analyze and identify opportunities to improve processes, practices, and procedures, uncovering opportunity for innovation within the App Factory Framework
  • Deliver baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate and track the realization of business benefits.
  • Work with Mendix business units as the subject matter expert in determining how best to evangelize the App Factory Framework.
  • Help organizations make data driven decisions regarding their Mendix practice and apps by gathering and presenting data in a clear and pointed manner
  • 7+ years of implementation or Management consulting experience with distributed applications
  • 2+ years driving digital transformation in large, complex organizations
  • Mendix Advanced or Expert Certified with at least 3+ years of Mendix Project experience is a mandatory requirement
  • Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated track record of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with the ability to work with senior level executives across multiple business lines and regions
  • Agile Enterprise Coach or Scrum certification is desirable. Experience in driving organization wide change management initiatives.
  • Capable of applying knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organizations goals, having foresight of possibilities, and translating them into breakthrough strategies.
  • Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information, to effectively solve problems. Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests.
  • Strong writing, mentoring, decision-making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills. Ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and non-technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members.
  • Ability to manage in a heavily matrixed environment.
