Objective:

We are searching for a Go-to-Market Manager for our Simcenter testing portfolio.

The Go-To-Marketing Manager is an engineer with a strong affinity with sales and marketing.

The GTM manager and his/her team make sure we deliver high-quality campaigns and consistent messaging to our customers, prospects, and our field organization to further drive our business.

The GTM manager operates based on a structured process that stimulates and enables interactions between different teams and leads to a consistent set of collaterals supporting all stages of the sales process (enablement, awareness, reputation, demand generation, sales execution, and delivery).

The GTM manager can clearly articulate the technical differentiators of a solution and has the skills to translate the technical content as delivered by product management and business development teams into clear value propositions.

The GTM manager works with a cross-functional team (solution and industry marketing, product management, business development, …) to make sure our go-to-market strategy is successful in a wide variety of customer engagements across a wide range of industries.

The GTM Manager reports to the Business Development Director for the Simcenter testing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical marketing: go-to-person for marketing, business development and product management assisting with creation, review and forward planning on various demand generation and sales execution assets for our Simcenter testing solutions: articles, blogs, webinars, solution briefs, technical white papers, presentations, videos and demonstrations, value propositions, win flashes,…
  • Enablement: coordinate and create training materials for enablement of regional presales, portfolio development, channel partners and sales orchestrators.
  • Launches: Support product launch activities and assist with tradeshows and conferences
  • Demonstrators: Build and maintain a demonstration environment for our Simcenter testing solutions.
  • Competitive analysis: Work with the Product management and business development teams for market and competitive analysis
  • Limited travel required to support field and marketing activity.
Profile/qualifications
  • M.Sc degree in marketing, business or engineering.
  • Extensive customer and field experience is a must, through sales, pre-sales or marketing related positions
  • Natural leadership skills and the ability to work with all teams in the company.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills required
  • Driven, with an entrepreneurial spirit and sense of working towards deadlines. Must be resourceful & proactive.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and possessing a high level of integrity.
  • Team player that works well in collaborative situations.
  • Experience with test-based engineering products in the fields of vibration, acoustics, fatigue, performance engineering. Basics on simulation-based engineering is an extra asset.
  • Knowledge on Siemens Testing solutions (Simcenter Testlab and Simcenter SCADAS) portfolio or competitive products (B&K, Dewesoft, Dewetron, HBM, HEAD acoustics, Mueller-BBM…) an extra asset
  • Experience with multiple industries (automotive & transportation, aerospace & defense, industrial machinery, heavy equipment, consumer goods, energy) is an extra asset
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German and/or French are extra strong assets
