  • Management of the logistics department and all related activities of the facility, technical and disciplinary management of the logistics group leader
  • Optimization of the storage-concept, material flow and material provision, which includes planning, control and implementation of logistics processes including materials planning, operational purchasing, goods receipt, internal transport, production planning and dispatch.
  • Commercial responsibility of the department including budget planning and budget responsibility as well as specification and monitoring of key figures in order to initiate appropriate preventive & corrective measures for improvement
  • Material inventory planning and inventory controlling (internally and externally).
  • Planning and management of various logistics projects.
  • Close cooperation and communication with counterparts within the organization as well as with suppliers
  • Representation of the logistics department in the plant Determination of claim strategy, collection of contractual penalties and conduct of claim negotiations
  • Support of internal and external audits
  • Monitoring of the implementation of internal and external requirements (e.g. transport of dangerous materials and storage of dangerous materials)

Use your skills to move the world forward

  • You should have minimum experience of 10 years along with bachelor’s degree or post-graduation
  • Experience in handling a team of technical and disciplinary management of approx. 40 employees will be an added advantage
  • Experience in the implementation of projects as well as in claim management
  •  Very good communication skills and social competence
  •  MS Office knowledge and very good ERP (SAP) knowledge required
  •  English: fluent in spoken and written
