Internally know as a P&O Benefits Analyst Based in Shannon, Co. Clare

As a part of the HR team based out of our Centre of Excellence in Shannon, you will be responsible for the delivery of benefits programs. Our emerging benefits philosophy is to offer choice, reduce complexity and deliver best in class benefits to our employees. To achieve this, you will partner with our HR leaders in EMEA.

This can be anything from working to integrate the benefits of an acquired company, launching new programs, through to the day-to-day administration of the benefits we deliver. You will be the point of contact to employees, you will collaborate closely with the payroll team and the benefits vendors.

In addition, you will be involved in a wide variety of tasks, including:.

  • Administering centrally processed European benefit plans. Ensuring compliance with company policy, statutory reporting, enrolment timelines, payment processes and maintaining accurate employee data in collaboration with vendor records.
  • Review and monitor data integration reports to identify and address inaccuracies and systems errors
  • Handling the administration of multiple pension schemes including monthly enrolment processes, monthly scheme payments and statutory enrolment requirements
  • Auditing payment calculation basis & status tracking of vendor invoices. Collaborating closely with internal teams and/or external vendors (including brokers) as applicable to ensure timely resolution of invoice related queries.
  • Monitoring and recording invoice approvals to ensure vendors are paid in line with contract requirements.
  • Handling the renewal (annual/bi-annual) of benefits programs across all centrally processed locations including but not limited to pension schemes, insurances including private healthcare, life assurance, disability, gym, childcare, lunch voucher programs, etc. Update internal databases accordingly.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely external agency reporting as defined by statutory regulations.
  • Assisting employees with benefits enquiries via dedicated mailboxes.
  • Handling projects throughout the year such as: program alignment, enrolment, web updates, employee communication, new benefit launches.

  • Acting as project coordinator for benefit platform refresh ahead of annual enrolment windows
  • Facilitating the implementation of new benefits, collaborating with multiple parties including procurement, legal, data privacy and cyber security
  • Promotion and communication of benefits programmes within regions to help increase employee understanding and engagement at different points in the employee lifecycle e.g. On-boarding, change in life events etc.
Requirements
  • An understanding of Benefits programs such as Pensions, Healthcare, Employee Insurances etc.
  • The ability to handle multiple projects concurrently and alongside day-to-day enquiries.
  • You must be highly organised, be able to prioritise and be an effective communicator.
  • Attention to detail, and the ability to understand data is key.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/HR or equivalent experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in both numeric terms and in the understanding of benefit plan design.
  • Ability to work independently but also effectively as a teammate.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including strong Excel skills.
  • High level of tact and ability to handle sensitive benefit and financial information.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise/escalate when dealing across multiple European locations.
