Head of Finance / CFO (m/f/x)

Job Description


Directs the financial functions of the Portfolio Company Large Drives Applications (LDA) to ensure achievement of financial goals and business objectives. Provides expert analysis and evaluations on financial, accounting, planning and forecasting, cost and trend reports in order to improve the results of the organization. Directs the development of short- and long-range financial goals and business objectives/ strategy of LDA together with the local LDA CEO.

 

Your key responsibilities will be to: 

  • Have the overall responsibility together with the local LDA CEO to achieve the financial targets of LDA in the Lead Country Bundle Belgium (including Belgium, France and the Netherlands).
  • Drive and grow the LDA Business in LCB Belgium as Head of Finance / CFO.
  • Contribute to define and ensure, together with the CEO, the implementation of the growth strategy for the Bundle in close collaboration with HQ.
  • Develop the Finance team in terms of capabilities and capacities to ensure successful business.
  • Lead and guide the Finance team and serve as a Role Model for the Finance community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture and entrepreneurship.
  • Ensure compliance and correctness of finance related processes and activities, especially in books & records.
  • Collaborate in the preparation of complex bids or tenders for the business (supporting Finance team).
  • Develop and implement financial and business administration policies, standards and procedures, for the assigned organization unit. 
  • Ensure effective financial analysis, planning and controlling activities, and all related business administration activities.
  • Ensure compliant and standardized contract management in all relevant business cases (supplier, customer, service providers, etc).
  • Develop and drive digitalization in Finance, with use cases applied and support collaboration on digitalization efforts.
  • Ensure profitable growth by flawlessly executing projects, reduce / effectively manage NCCs, drive productivity initiatives, and implement a successful claim/risk management.
  • Contribute to define and ensure correct set up of value chain which ensures competitiveness and use cross-country synergies, where relevant.


Required Skills, Knowledge and Education

  • Minimum a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or another related field is required.
  • 10+ years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above.
  • Executive-level leadership, interpersonal, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Experience in managing a team including different levels of managers.
  • Experience with MS Office Products and SAP.
