Manager, Healthcare Inside Sales & Sales Support Team

Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and proactive Manager with Equipment Finance experience, and solid background in healthcare finance programs to join Siemens Financial Services. In this role, the Manager, Inside Sales & Sales Support Team will be instrumental to support our Captive Finance Program with Siemens Healthineers. and have responsibility for new non-captive programs.

You will lead a high-performance inside sales/sales support team and take part in exciting projects to drive efficiency in support of Siemens Financial Services planned future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Build, train and manage a high-performance sales support and inside sales team creating value for our customers, while ensuring that SFS will reach its financial objectives.
  • The team’s responsibility includes helping our external Sales with processing of transactions within our Siemens Healthineers program and to manage newly onboarded non-captive programs. Efficiency, offer accuracy and best practice sharing amongst the team members are a key focus of the Manager.
  • It includes both mid ticket and flow/app only transactions from prescreen to funding. Starting with the customer financial applications, pricing, submission for credit review; communication of credit decision to vendor/customer; follow up with the customers for signed documents, insurance information, invoices, etc., and coordinating with external partners and operations to level set expectation for funding.
  • The team maintains close communication with cross functional teams to ensure transactions are streamlined and processed timely
  • Develop specific promotions together with Marketing, coordinate the promotion development with all stakeholders, drive awareness and report monthly on promotion results and success rate
  • Update rate cards on a monthly/biweekly basis to distribute to vendor partners
  • Back up for external sales team during PTO
  • Participate and represent the Healthcare Team in IT development topics and projects around new digital tools and automation of the sales process
  • Manage the setup and maintain Vendor Portal user profiles
  • Plan sales volumes within scope of responsibility and provide information for forecasts and planning.
    • Support the proposing and structuring of new vendor program agreements
  • Assume the role as key contact person for all financing process related topics of the Healthcare Finance Team

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree, where required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Minimum of 8 years leasing/finance experience
  • Background in management of vendor programs
    • Ability to execute business strategy and contribute to targeted sales, relationship management objectives and business returns
    • Strong problem-solving skills
    • Ability to maintain a high level of productivity in a fast-paced setting.
    • Ability to provide solutions and address Customer needs
    • Ability to structure standard and complex product financial offerings
    • Demonstrated understanding of risk versus return
    • Ability to travel, meet with clients/prospects, attend industry events and conferences
    • Functional knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, and CRM systems.
    • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent relationship building skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Vendor finance experience for both small ticket and middle market programs is strongly preferred
