Position Overview

We have an immediate need for a Social Media Manager for Simcenter, a world leading portfolio of Simulation and Test Solutions. Our social media channels are growing, and we want to accelerate that growth even more!  In this role, you will plan, implement, execute, and measure the Simcenter social media strategy in support of our overall brand and business goals. Your primary mission will be to drive organic and paid promotion in collaboration with subject matter experts to transform employees into social advocates within their own networks. While this is a role within the Simcenter Marketing Team, be prepared to closely collaborate with a global team of social media experts across Siemens to achieve this mission.

Location

Remote and/or from one of our offices: Belgium (Leuven, Liège), France (Paris, Lyon), UK (Hammersmith, Frimley, Towcester, Cambridge), US & Canada

Responsibilities

  • Work with internal industry, product, and brand experts to plan and implement an effective social media strategy
  • Drive organic and/or paid activities that deliver against key business and marketing initiatives
  • Interpret and act on performance metrics to measure and optimize execution
  • Manage Amplify, our platform for employee advocacy, and provide training and support to help transform employees into social advocates
  • Leverage platforms such as Sprinklr and Amplify to maximize engagement, reach and impact of our all our social media activities
  • Stay at the forefront of new social media trends and delivery platforms and propose innovative ideas to improve our strategy and processes
  • Align Simcenter social media activities to social media operations across Siemens to further amplify our visibility and reach

Required Education and Experience

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital communication or a similar job
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in lead generation through the above-mentioned platforms based on optimization strategies
  • Working experience of a social media management platform such as Sprinklr preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable with processing and analyzing data
