Your Role – Challenging And Future-Oriented!

In this role you will be responsible for the Group (Espirit) financial reporting of the Company. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Entity’s accounting, governance, closing and reporting topics;
  • Core responsibilities to ensure effective and efficient monthly / quarterly closing and reporting as per the deadlines circulated by HQ, including:
  • preparation and review of journal vouchers and management judgments;
  • addressing system validation during closing runs;
  • support in booking of valuation allowance on receivables and inventories;
  • lease accounting as per IFRS 16 and reporting requirements thereof;
  • adjustments for FX and Embedded Derivatives (ED); and
  • GL monitoring, balance sheet reviews and cleansing activities;

  • Handling group reporting requirements including Order Backlog, Reach reporting, Additional Statements Reporting (ADSTAR), etc.;
  • Preparing monthly / quarterly management reports and presentations;
  • Preparing and reviewing audit reports and support audit activities (internal and external);
  • Supporting in statutory financial reporting particularly in preparation of disclosures such as Related Party Transactions, Segment Reporting, Leases, Sector wise breakup of receivables etc.;
  • Liaise with business units and support them on accounting, controlling and reporting topics;
  • Building awareness and advise stakeholders on Financial Reporting Guidelines or other accounting global projects;
  • Acting as solution provider for ERP issues related to accounting and reporting topics and supporting in implementation of change requests;
  • Perform periodic reviews and analysis of financial statements of various business units of the company;
  • Involve in process optimization activities;
  • Exploring ways to perform pre-closing validations in order to minimize validation errors during monthly closing and ensuring that the monthly / quarterly closing and reporting deadlines are met accordingly; and
  • Supporting ad-hoc requirements.

Your Qualifications And Skills – Digital And Solid!

  • ACCA Qualified or CA Finalist
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting
  • Strong understanding of IFRS
  • Understanding Group Reporting tools and procedures and FRG
  • Proficient in using MS office applications and SAP
  • Good communication, collaboration and presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in speaking English
