We are currently actively recruiting for Export Control Associate to join our outstanding team in either Shannon.

This position will have functional responsibility for day-to-day screening of customers and transactions to ensure full compliance with Export requirement in various jurisdictions in accordance to Siemens Export Internal Control Program as well as applicable legislation requirements.

  • Export License applications/ cooperation with DETE Ireland (Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment) on behalf of Siemens EDA business,
  • Continuous improvement of Export Screening process for Siemens EDA business to ensure consistency in Export compliance and facilitate harmonization of processes, methods and standards,
  • Represent Siemens EDA business in case of any Export Control related audits (both external and internal),
  • Daily screening of customers and transactions to ensure with applicable export regulations,
  • Implementation and execution of export control training as needed.
What is required?
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and/or experience in related field.
  • Proven knowledge of export control regulations.
  • Prior experience of cooperation with DETE (Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment) Ireland/ export license application process.
  • Prior experience with SAP and export transaction clearance preferred.
  • Prior experience in the Software industry preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate requirements to the business.
  • Experienced MS Office (excel, power point) user.
