Job Description

Siemens Logistics LLC is seeking an Accountant at our DFW Airport location (Irving, Texas). This individual will participate in semi-complex accounting activities such as account reconciliation, month-end processes, and preparation of journal entries as needed. Prepares and maintains ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and fiscal reports. Maintains and processes semi-complex entries in accordance with US GAAP.

Must have the ability to independently perform important areas of standard professional level work that typically requires processing and interpreting more complex, less clearly-defined issues. Identifies and resolves readily identifiable, clearly-defined problems and escalates complex, unusual problems to others. Provides general guidance or train lower level support staff. This position requires working productively across many business departments.

Education / Knowledge
BS/BA in related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
Requires extensive SAP knowledge.
Typically up to two (2) years of successful experience in related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. 

Requires close working relationship with other members in the accounting department.
Must be able to work independently as well as be an effective team player.
