Siemens Sustainability and Energy Management (SEM) team is hiring a Client Services Manager (CSM) to join our growing Energy Services business. In this role you will be responsible to maintain and grow an existing portfolio of customers who are focused on being leaders in their industries as it relates to energy management and/or sustainability. You will work with our internal teams to ensure all contract commitments are fulfilled, delivered on time, and ensure your portfolio performs at planned targets. Our CSMs are a close-knit team based throughout the United States. You will have the opportunity to work with collaborative, customer focused sales and operations team members to grow our business and your own professional development in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute effective account strategies using continuous data analysis to positively impact the executive level decision maker’s core business. Grow a network of Siemens sponsors and supporters at multiple levels within the assigned portfolio.
  • Actively review managed portfolio for account growth (upsell) potential, manage proposals and sales activities for assigned portfolio. Maintain an advanced understanding of supply side and data services products, and overall Siemens services for the purposes of identifying opportunities for the assigned portfolio. 
  • Advanced understanding of the business of the accounts in assigned portfolio, including industry drivers, business objectives and operational issues.
  • Demonstrate intermediate strategic thinking by anticipating future trends through looking outward at the customer market, competition, and alternatives.
  • Work collaboratively with the SEM Operations and Digital Service Center organizations to support proper implementation of assigned clients, scope of work.
  • Manage account renewal efforts and support existing accounts service offering growth.
  • Create and maintain Client Maintenance Plans for assigned portfolio. Actively manage account performance and relationships with reporting update provided to SEM management.
  • Review monthly financial performance and provide reports to SEM management. Ensure costs allocations are properly managed and planned targets are achieved.
  • Manage the distribution of the annual Net Promoter Score relationship surveys; analyze and develop action plans where necessary with management to address results within 30 days of receiving results, address with client and/or internal management actions taken within 30 days of developing action plan.
  • Develop strategic relationship with assigned client portfolio to align and support the client in achieving their goals, objectives and problem-solving needs.
  • Identify and develop additional services that support your clients’ goals, objectives and problem solving needs while partnering with the Sales Executive to grow the business with each customer. 

Qualifications:

  • This position supports a Siemens customer who requires all employees and vendors to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 where permitted by applicable law and in accordance with an accommodation based on legally protected reasons
  • Minimum of 2 plus years managing multi-jurisdictional energy supply side clients or equivalent account management experience in another industry
  • High school diploma, state-recognized GED, or state-recognized high school proficiency exam. B.A./B.S. in business, engineering or related field highly preferred.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 plus years of project management skills
  • Minimum of 2 plus years of strong customer service skills
  • Minimum of 3 plus years of energy related work 
  • Intermediate subject matter expertise required in supply side offerings 
  • Basic subject matter expertise required in demand side offering
  • Advanced expertise in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Collaborative and Solution Minded
  • Team player who desires to solve problems with focus on Client First
  • Highly motivated and eager to take on new challenges
