Social Media & Content Lead

Job Description

This role is responsible for leading, managing and executing content creation, brand content marketing and social media activity on behalf of Siemens Digital Industries Software. This position will lead the social media & content team and own and deliver programs that build awareness of the company, drive demand for our solutions and engage our customers, partners, employee, and influencer communities. This role is also responsible for driving the production of social and public relations content including press releases, social copy and imagery, blogs, videos and related assets.

Essential Functions:
  • Lead social media & content team; own, develop and drive brand social content strategy
  • Supervise day to date activities across Siemens DI SW social media channels including organic and paid social media
  • Own paid social media strategy and guidelines for brand channels
  • Drive content marketing
  • Responsible for creating and enforcing company social media policy
  • Serve as representative to Siemens DI and Siemens AG social media teams
  • Social media subject matter expert while supporting, training and engaging with social media stakeholders across company
  • Own and define KPIs for social media program; Review analytics to optimize social media content calendar and strategy
  • Own and define KPIs for press release and earned media distribution
  • Measure performance of social media channels and content against defined KPIs and create recommendations to optimize performance of channels and content
  • Oversee brand social media paid spend and overall DI SW paid social media activity
  • Contribute to overall brand social media strategy and plan
Skills and Abilities Required:
  • Expertise managing social media programs in a B2B Technology Company (or equivalent)
  • Trained in advertising and digital marketing tools (Sprinklr advertising experience preferred)
  • Experience developing and executing paid social media campaigns
  • Ability to serve as paid & organic social media subject matter expert across Siemens DI SW
  • Demonstrated experience working across major social media platforms
  • Trained in social media management tools (Sprinklr strongly preferred)
  • Skilled in social media measurement and listening
  • Ownership of social editorial calendar
  • Excellent written & oral communication skills
  • Analytical; able to draw conclusions and drive action from data
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work well with technical information and technical subject matter experts
Education and Experience Requirement:
  • College/University degree with focus on marketing/communications/social media preferred
  • 8+ years social media/communications/marketing experience
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
  • Full time office/home-based job
  • Expected Travel: 10% or less
