We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an Applications / Clinical Specialist to join our Point of Care team based in New South Wales. We are launching a revolutionary new system that can lead to significant changes in the patient management pathway, improving outcomes for the patient while also offering workflow advantages to the healthcare provider and health system.

Integral to this role is maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction by providing product line applications expertise to assist in the instrument installation, clinical customer training processes and ongoing applications / clinical support. In addition, you will provide sales support by identifying and developing sales opportunities and assisting with product demonstrations. 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

·    Drive clinical use of the new system and all existing POC products, ensuring all stakeholders are confident and competent.  Identifying new customer opportunities or expand current customer relationships.

·    Work collaboratively with Point of Care and Engineering teams to achieve installations to agreed timelines and quality including performing relevant configuration, system optimisation, assay validation and instrument software updates/upgrades.

·         Provide technical and clinical information to the customer to provide better customer and patient outcomes in conjunction with the Marketing team and Product Specialist.

·         Prepare, set up and deliver clinical training as per customer requirements.

Your qualifications, experience and attributes:

You will have a clinical background with registered nursing qualifications (ED, ICU, Cardiology or Cardiac Thoracic experience preferred) and/or tertiary qualifications in Science, Applied Science or related field. Ideally you will have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in your field.

Demonstrated strong customer focus and excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.  Being a solid team contributor and exhibiting strong results orientation will see you succeed in this role. 

Ability and willingness to travel when required. The role is predominantly based in New South Wales and may involve travel to assist other teams within Australia/New Zealand. You must be able to provide evidence of your eligibility to work in Australia and New Zealand and hold a current Drivers Licence.
