Computerized Maintenance Operator

Job Description

As a key user for the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), you’ll be responsible for the implementation of the Siemens Mobility CMMS (CORMAP) as well as the ongoing support for the end-users and drive implementation of changes and improvements of the system after implementation.

The key user reports to the project manager on site.


Already during the mobilization / implementation phase, the key user is of decisive importance. The key user collects, examines and bundles the requirements of the maintenance project and communicates them in the direction of the implementation manager (PLM EAM). The key user is integrated into the solution-finding process, takes the solution developed by PLM EAM and distributes and explains the implemented solution to the affected parts of the project.

Furthermore, the key user in the current project has the following tasks:

  • Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for CORMAP-related topics for MO CS PLM EAM
  • Support in the definition / management of project requirements for CORMAP
  • Specification and status tracking of change requests in the CORMAP environment.
  • Report / forward deviation in the CORMAP environment.
  • Support in troubleshooting / solution finding
  • Trainer for all CORMAP users in the project In connection with the planned "train-the-trainer" concept. The keyuser acts as a "multiplier" in the project.
  • First level support for all CORMAP-related topics for all users in the project
  • Monitoring of data quality for all project data in CORMAP
  • Support in the implementation - e.g. Load (mass) data, test, create and maintain the operating instructions
  • Directly involved in the definition and maintenance of all processes in CORMAP environment. (Order management, configuration management, material management, interfaces, reporting)
  • Ensuring the functionality of the interface to other IT systems on the CORMAP side
