This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Financial Analyst 4 , you will be responsible for:


• Conduct analysis and reporting of key BU Ultrasound financial results; provide a controlling function with proactive recommendations to BU Ultrasound management. To analyze, report & drive the total transparency into Cost of Goods Sold from lowest to the highest level.
• Responsible for Global Operating Working Capital Controlling
• Analyze, reconcile & bridge as well as drive the WW Inventory Optimization initiatives.
• Analyze, reconcile & bridge as well as drive the WW A/P Optimization initiatives.
• Leads the topic of global product costs, strategic product costs planning, long term product costs roadmap & budgets & reconciliation with actual budget v/s actual variance.
• Analyze, reconcile & bridge as well as drive the CNI initiatives.
• Coordinate long term product cost planning between SCM/PLM/PP&S Financial Reports.
• Develop and oversee the accurate completion of key BU Ultrasound financial reports.
• Lead or guide the analyses of financial results and determines accuracy and completeness of information.
• Ensure that all reports and related documents are meaningful, timely, of high value and quality, and easily understood by stakeholders, including all levels of management.
• Ensure that all reports meet required completion dates.
• Design or assist in the design of key BU Ultrasound financial reports. Examples: Productivity Reports, Inventory Analysis, Fixed and Variable Expenses, Forecasts, Segment Income Statements, R & D Project Reporting, General Expense Analysis
• Review accounting activity in SAP and submit journal entries when appropriate to ensure accurate financial results.
• Download, consolidate, sort, and format data to update and complete financial reports.
• Oversee and/or ensure compliance with US GAAP and IFRS standards and requirements, with Siemens and general financial processes, and sound accounting processes; examples: P & L , Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Financial Disclosures
• Interface with other departments and other Siemens entities; examples: Shared Accounting Services, CSG, SLS (Korea), Performance Controlling, etc.
• Establish calculation & tracking model to incorporate assumptions with regards to future product releases, tie ratios, CNI measures etc.
• Maintain reporting tools; examples: SAP P41, MISU, PUMA, Hyperion Pillar.
• Financial Advisory and Controlling Responsibilities: Provide financial expertise, including performance controlling recommendations to all levels of BU Ultrasound management.
• Determine and discuss financial analysis at very complex levels.
• Keep BU Ultrasound management informed of the financial performance of key BU Ultrasound performance areas and any potential problems to be addressed.
• Identify, communicate, and guide implementation of recommendations for performance improvement and achievement of budgets.
• Manage cost center budgets, including short and long term financial goals for business segments.
• Ensure corporate compliance with appropriate internal controls and SOX.
• Establish how financial data is collected and reported for project teams.
• Provide financial expertise in the development of BU Ultrasound contracts and agreements.
• Guide monthly forecasting and budgeting process.
• Based on assigned area of responsibility, may lead: managing and collecting receivables, spare parts pricing, expense and balance sheet review, setting up projects in SAP (internal orders and/or WBS elements), and performing project accounting and reporting, inventory valuation.
• Own communication with regards to all aspects of prod cost planning, forecasting, act/BU/FC variances. Support short/mid/long term planning in monthly FC’s, budgets, FPP’s, StratBinder updates etc.

Position Qualifications:
• Desired background is 5 to 8 years of experience with a medical equipment manufacturer
• BS/BA in Finance or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management skills is a plus.
