What will you do?

  • Responsible to manage and assist IT Infrastructure topics and Local IT Services within Siemens Canada
  • Main point of contact for IT Partners and Business managers for all Infrastructure topics and local IT Services
  • To ensure deliver suitable solutions and services to the Business
  • Identify and promote IT solutions that help the business to better achieve their targets
  • Act as trusted local country interface to global IT infrastructure value centers
  • Implement and manage local IT services to ensure high satisfaction assessment for IN services.
  • Responsible for submission and managing IN IT Demands for the Business
  • Ensure Management of IN and IN CSS Portfolio
  • Responsible for Budget planning for C/L Countries
  • Oversee and influence all Infrastructure projects in the respective Country.
  • Deliver customer satisfaction management for IN Services by managing local service activities requested by the Business

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create a high-level dashboard to organize data center mappings, ownership, and landscape updates.
  • Manage the professional relationship with local vendors and the Business
  • Assist and manage in promoting innovative services within IT Infrastructure environment.
  • Establishing data analytics from service providers to improve customer satisfaction
  • Resolving customer helpdesk issues by analyzing statistics to identify areas of improvement
  • Manage local service activities with the related service provider.
  • Support and manage of IN implementation projects
  • Promote Office 365 applications by organizing advanced workshops, training materials
  • Managing accurate internal stock levels of Siemens IT Hardware
  • Achieving end to end customer satisfaction by managing and creating purchase orders promptly and with high quality.
  • Continuously building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure high quality of goods, timely delivery, and adherence to contracts
  • Generating reports and invoices for the IT financial controller by creating monthly cost allocations report for Siemens Canada. Processing invoices in a timely manner, creating Purchase Orders for Siemens contracts.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Degree in Business Commerce or Computer Science or relevant experience in IT Business
  • Customer Support experience – at least 2 years is an asset
  • Excellent knowledge of Office 365 applications
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong client communication, collaboration and conflict resolution skills required.
  • Extensive working knowledge and understanding of IT Cost Planning, IT Budgeting, IT Vendor Management, IT Customer Service and IT Project Management, IT Asset management skills
  • SAP knowledge / commercial knowledge
  • Must be flexible and adaptable with strong work ethic culture
