Then come and join our global team as IT Service Manager (f/m/d) and actively shape the provision of IT services in the area of Data Catalog.

Our goal is to build an overall data management environment for shared business know-how and corporate data and thus drive digitalization in the company.

Choose the best place for your work - within the scope of this position, it is possible to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working time in agreement with your manager.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for a range of topics in the areas of IT service management and technical operations
  • You will define and implement IT Service Management in accordance with our IT Service Management and IT Compliance Frameworks
  • You actively shape the operational, change and improvement processes in our Data Catalog environment
  • You think outside the box, consider end-to-end processes, and identify cross-topic dependencies
  • You will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external service management teams and drive relevant activities independently
  • You will ensure that the service delivery is optimized in terms of performance, adaptability, technical reliability and (cyber) security and take care of release management, platform maintenance and development as well as proactive interaction with the responsible stakeholders

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, medical informatics or comparable
  • You have several years of relevant professional experience as an IT service manager
  • You do not have a degree? Applications with vocational training in combination with additional qualifications and many years of professional experience in this field are also welcome
  • You enrich our team with comprehensive knowledge in all ITIL Service Management processes (e.g. Service Management, Demand Management, Change Management)
  • In addition to profound IT project management experience, you ideally also have knowledge of moderation techniques
  • You ideally have experience with the IT operation/IT service of data management or data governance solutions
  • You ideally have one or more experiences in requirements engineering, demand/project management, agile methods (e.g. SCRUM) and problem solving techniques (e.g. design thinking)

Your attributes and skills:

  • You enjoy working in an international team with colleagues from Europe, USA and Asia and speak fluent English, German and other languages are an advantage
  • You work in a structured and independent manner and have already proven that you can prioritize complex processes
  • You ask, ‘Why not?’ instead of ‘Why?’. You contribute with your innovative ideas to question our current status quo and to develop it further
  • We learn passionately − you have the willingness to learn new topics related to data management and adapt quickly to technological changes
  • You have excellent problem solving, analysis, communication, coordination and task management skills
