Then come and join our global team as Product Definition Specialist (m/f/d) at Siemens Healthineers Innovation Think Tank (ITT) USA in the area of Medical Technology.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You are responsible for development of clinical requirements for products within the Laboratory Diagnostics, Point-of-Care and Medical Imaging fields.
- You will lead the conception of minimal viable product (MVP) with R&D and innovation teams, as well as responsible for the validation of prototypes/solution scenarios, together with our dedicated clinical partners (universities, hospitals, labs, clinics, etc.)
- You will closely collaborate with the Innovation Think Tank labs and partners globally, both in cross-location projects and in the optimization of clinical pathways by creation of various scenarios.
- You will act as an expert on clinical/laboratory topics.
- You will support in the organization and management of Innovation Think Tank (ITT) Certification and Training Programs, ITT Lab set-up, etc.
- This position requires travel for customer need investigations, prototype validation visits, which could account for 15% of responsibilities. Schedules often can be planned in advance.
Your qualifications and experience:
· You have a bachelor’s/master’s degree in medicine, biomedical engineering or other sciences and engineering fields.
· You have experience working in an interdisciplinary and intercultural experience.
Your attributes and skills:
· You are interested in solving problems within the Healthcare and Medicine fields, have a positive mindset and out-of-the-box thinking.
· You are interested to work on projects in an intercultural and interdisciplinary environment together with the multinational and diverse ITT Teams globally
· You have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate in English (verbally and written) on a high level.
· You are open to new ideas and can work independently as well as in a team.
