About the role

Siemens Digital Industry Software is looking for an Implementation Consultant, to be hired with a permanent contract in Lyon.

You will be involved in the Design, Implementation and Support of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) solutions based on Siemens software products. You will be one of main actors for the success of our Projects, delivering value to our Customers operating in Manufacturing industries. You will be working on different projects with customers around EMEA region.

APS Solutions play an important role in our vision of Industry 4.0, they are a relevant component of Siemens Manufacturing Operation Management proposal for the digital factory, based on a product portfolio leveraging continuous innovation.

The Implementation consultant will be part of an EMEA community providing premium services in a multi-cultural and dynamic environment, made by cross-country teams.

  • You will work closely with the customer and our Senior Solution Architect to analyze, specify and design the future Solution. This would require you to understand the purpose of the Project, the key deliverables, and the engagement model.
  • We expect you to contribute to the implementation and the support of the Solution by configuring the software and interface it with other systems.
  • This implementation will require at a high degree specific development using C# and .NET as well as training and assistance to End-Users
  • To achieve this goal, it will require you to participate pro-actively to the creation and development of a team working environment and capture and share lessons learnt.
Your qualifications

We would love to hear from you if you have an engineering degree in Computer Science, with hands on experience related production and logistic environment. You are proficient with various programming languages such as C# and/or .NET

  • You should come with a good understanding of industrial applications and related use cases possibly in various engineering environment. Ideally, you have an experience in a Planning and Scheduling domain.
  • Your ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems helps you create, document, and execute technical developments which may involve complicated logics and algorithms.
  • Thanks to your enthusiasm, excellent communication skills in English and your capacity to work autonomously, you build positive relationships with your colleagues and integrate easily a transverse role in an international and cross-domains context.
