Software Development Engineer – Machine Learning

Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer looking to help bring machine learning models into production for semiconductor manufacturing. You will be responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting the Calibre machine learning core software. You will be teaming up with a senior group of software engineers contributing to final production level quality of new components and algorithms and to support existing components. You will be responsible for helping develop, optimize, and improve advanced models that are capable of accurately characterizing physical processes that occur during manufacturing of semiconductor chips and that are suitable to be used during the compensation framework of OPC. The ideal candidate would have proficiency in C++ and python, experience in machine learning, and a desire to enable next generation semiconductor manufacturing processes through advanced ML models.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Mathematics or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Some experience and strong programming skills in C and C++ on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.
  • Must have the ability to collaborate closely with other members of the team and develop critical components consistently and in a timely manner.
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • PHD / Master's in Machine Learning experience. 
  • Individuals with strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills are preferred.
  • Project-based experience 
  • Experience with MATLAB, Tcl/Tk and other scripting languages (perl, python)
