You will be joining a team of Product, UX, Software Engineering and Data Science to create the next-generation digital platform in railway industry. The real-time big data platform on Railigent will play a critical role in everyday railway maintenance work and thus meaningfully important for public safety and people welfare. We are working closely with local Mobility technical experts to reshape the future of maintenance to reduce cost, improve efficient and improve quality and safety. Throughout the wide range of working scenarios, as a lighthouse project firstly in China region, the team provide the talent a wide variety of opportunities to get involved in and to be part of a global network of experts and professionals.

What role will you play?

• Develop conceptual designs or models to address requirements
• Analyze problems to determine technical solutions
• Decide what procedures will be required to solve technical problems
• Identify new and existing products, technologies, and/or architectures to solve design, development, and operational problems
• Analyze data using mathematical/statistical methods
• Apply mathematical or computational methods and lines of reasoning
• Conduct analysis of metadata
• Develop tools and techniques for analysis
• Exploit, fuse and use data and data sources
• Identify and analyze anomalous data (including metadata)
• Analyze data using appropriate tool set

We are looking for:

• MSc or PhD in data science, statistics, math, engineering, computer science, or other quantitative and engineering discipline
• 5+ years overall development experience with terabyte or larger size poly-structured datasets
• Proficient in classic machine learning techniques including but not limited to Linear & Logistic Regression, Linear Discriminant Analysis, Decision Trees, Random Forests, Support Vector Machines, etc.
• Have deep understanding of deep learning and the related frameworks: CNN, RNN, LSTM, BERT, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, etc. Hands-on experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Python
• Experience in handling real world large datasets through project work, internships or employment
• Knowledge/experience on railway business is a plus
