As a Vice President Strategy, Cardiovascular, you will be responsible for:

  • Enable the growth of the Ultrasound Cardiovascular business through the identification of new growth opportunities and development of business plans to drive new investment opportunities and to build new partnerships necessary to meet the demanding goals.
  • Manage operational projects to drive program, process and business improvements, and support the existing CV business with analytics, internal education and project management support.
  • Work closely with the Head of Ultrasound Cardiovascular, Sales, Marketing to develop strategy to meet high expectations of a growing Cardiovascular business. This position will also ensure business growth through advising on strategic partnership & business development activities to ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
  • Delivering competitive insights and competitive analysis regarding market movement and market opportunities.
  • Delivering customer insights in our key markets including segmentation, share shift and market dynamics related to customer changing relationships.
  • Incubate new and underdeveloped business functions to a maturity level to incorporate into existing business departments.
  • Synthesize multiple sources of information to develop a coherent understanding of market opportunities, emerging customer needs, and the competitive landscape; and define the development of new portfolio extension partnerships across the business lines.
  • Enable the transformation of the business unit to align with future vision

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • MBA or 15+ years of business management experience.
  • Experience in Healthcare / MedTech / Pharmaceutical / Biotech preferred
  • Must have a proven track record of strategic thinking, influencing others, and responding to multiple priorities with minimum assistance
  • Ability to operate with a high level of ethics and integrity and reflect a values system of mentorship, collaboration, and commitment to the mission.
  • The ability to travel 25% of the time.
