We are looking for a software engineer to work in the RET platform team in the Calibre business unit.  

You will be teaming up with a group of senior software engineers and working on researching, designing and enhancing C++ based Calibre Software at scale on distributed systems. 

 

All applications of this work relate to the domain of semiconductor manufacturing, but the core principles needed are computer science, software engineering, OS and distributed processing.  

 

Some experience in working with moderately complex software systems is highly desirable. 


Responsibilities  

  • Develop deep understanding of the distributed software and contribute to the enhancements. 
  • Participate in team meetings with cross functional teams to understand the requirements and enhance existing software and/or develop new software. 
  • Responsible to understand the customer requirements, run experiments and do scientific analysis. 


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 

  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Applied Mathematics. A passion for core computer science principles and concepts 
  • Excellent programming skills and demonstrable experience in C and C++ on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.
  • Experience/knowledge with integration of software packages and design of interfaces between them to make the whole work.
  • Experience in working with Multi-threaded/distributed systems is a plus 
  • S/W development, EDA would be a plus 
  • BS 6+yrs experience, MS 4+ yrs experience 
  • Computer Science principles/Software engineering, C/C++, TCL/Python.
  • Experience working in Multi-threaded/distributed S/W. Demonstrated ability and strong desire to learn and explore new technologies.
