This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a < ASSAY SUPPORT SPECIALIST >, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing third level service support to the Siemens Healthcare Regional Units and business partners worldwide for the IMMULITE, ADVIA CENTAUR and Atellica Solution product lines.
  • Performing investigations using ATS methodology to identify potential product issues.
  • Collaborating with the Business Area to create and communicate interim and final solutions.
  • Disseminating relevant technical information via SKB.
  • Defining customer account issues and lead cross-functional team to develop, execute and monitor action plan that may require an onsite visit.
  • Conducting knowledge transfer sessions including global calls and technical exchange meetings; leading knowledge transfer on new product introductions and updates.

  • Understanding of clinical laboratory operations
  • Customer Service experience
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Consider processes and results generated in other workflows and disciplines.
  • Thinking focused on analyzing, evaluating, prioritizing and resolving moderately complex technical issues, with assistance, or on leading knowledge transfer
  • Consult with senior staff members regarding moderate to highly complex or unusual problems.
  • Needs experienced level of analytical and distinctive conceptual skills to resolve technical issues, which may differ in size and nature

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Typically, 5+ years of relevant experience in related field and successful demonstration of key responsibilities and knowledge/skills
  • Small team participation/leadership
  • Knowledge of the complaint escalation process
