This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for: 

As a member of Customer Engagement for Education, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for strategic and tactical internal and external marketing strategies and activities for offerings as part of the education portfolio and future services.  Taking strategic and operational direction from the Global Head of Customer Engagement for Education, the Marketing Specialist actively collaborates with subject matter networks to develop global Marketing Strategies for assigned Education and Workforce products, solutions and services, as well as partnering with the Global Community, and delivers to the internal organization and the external customer. The Marketing Specialist works with the teams of  Customer Engagement, Strategy Implementation, SkillSphere, Regional Partners, BA/BL Responsible parties, Education Architecture and Design, Digital Infrastructure, as well as respective partners on marketing initiatives, communications and channel management strategies, in support of existing and new products, as well as Siemens Healthineers systems.  The Marketing Specialist will follow the processes and guidelines for Customer Services, and work in alignment with CS CRM counterparts.  The Marketing Specialist interacts with Headquarters, Global and Local Marketing and Product or Project related counterparts. The Marketing Specialist fulfills diverse assignments that support departmental and business needs as outlined below.

a. Market Research:  Conduct Market Research on assigned product offerings and services.  Documentation and education development from research required for Marketing Strategy development and to distribute to the global audience

b. Marketing Strategy:  Develop Marketing Strategy for assigned product offerings and services, to include product messaging, placement, pricing, monetization, through implementation for complete Go To Market.  Manage all activities with Technical Product Manager, internal partners, and delivery of Marketing Collateral, Tools, Presentations and Communications.  Manage global launches and country rollout strategies, from coordination through project management, working with Global and local counterparts.  Liaise and maintain global and local marketing relationships supporting current and future virtual education portfolio.  Project Manage all related activities and provide organization transparency.   All development and documentation will follow CS processes and guidelines.

c. Marketing Analytics:  Conduct data development, meta-data mining, sales and business analysis, market research analysis for assigned product offering or services.  Recommend marketing tactics, strategies, content or practices based on data analysis.  Ensure all data is accurate and timely from source systems, and consistent with previously reports results.  Reports on Marketing KPIs on Quarterly basis.  Support CEN, Business Area and Business Line Managers on various reports.  Visualize data for presentations and executive review.    Provide additional administrative and reporting activities.

d. Communications: Social and Virtual Channel:  Maximize all existing and investigate new Social Channels and Technologies for internal and external Marketing and Communications and recommend new channels. Plan and manage  virtual Marketing and Communications, from social network sites, internal social sites, internet and intranet, and partnership with virtual web spaces, in alignment and partnership with Communications, Quality and Branding.  

e. Collateral, Tool and Presentations:  Partner with team, Communications and Country for internal and external needs, to create Sales Collateral for Customers, Sales Tools for internal use.  Development of collateral, documentation, tools and presentations.  Responsible for branding alignment and quality tracking. Work with vendors on production, posting, printing and other distribution needs.  Support internal employees on presentation and customer facing event needs

f. Customer Relations, Meetings, Tradeshows/Congresses:  Manage customer questions, feedback and insights.  Ensure accurate messaging and clear follow-up.  Liaison across the business for Customer facing opportunities.  Support Education, CEN, Event Planning and Portfolio Managers for Global Meetings, Tradeshow and Congress Planning activities Coordinate activities for VIPs and other Customer activities or Partner visits.  Support all Sales and Marketing activities

Marketing Specialist is responsible for understanding the Quality Management System. Individual needs to integrate their knowledge of the quality policy and business objectives into their work practices to augment the business such as: participating in internal audits, identifying areas which need improvement, implementing plans to correct and prevent problems. Incumbent is required to meet all Quality Management System requirements for the functional group and Siemens Healthineers.

Marketing Specialist is responsible for understanding all Marketing and Communication Processes, as well as Branding Standards for Healthcare knowledge of all Education Consultant Processes (Product Development Processes) and Innovation and Development for holistic view to support Education Product and Siemens Healthineers Product Marketing activities.   Individual needs to integrate their knowledge of their work practices to augment the business such as: participating in Marketing and Communications meetings, conducting research, leading project teams and meetings, maintaining project plans, and developing marketing plans in support of product launch initiatives

Education – Master’s degree in Marketing or Business– or discipline related to these areas plus formal coursework or experience in designing and delivering instruction.

  • 5+ years professional experience with increasing responsibility in Marketing Strategy Development with proven track record.

  • Marketing Collateral, Tools and Sales Training for Products
  • Communication and Channel Strategy for Said Product
  • Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments.
  • Successfully applies complex knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of particular area of specialization.
  • Requires high degree of interpersonal communications for negotiation, team leading, network management, and presentations.
  • Project planning and management skills essential for the numerous team projects required.
