Global Sales Operations Policies & Process Manager

Position Overview

The Policies & Processes Manager focus will be the improvement of sales engagements, reduction of sales cost and increase of productivity by developing sales policies and procedures for all three go-to-market channels to facilitate DISWs transformation to and success as a SaaS provider. 

Both policies, the associated operational guidance and processes are a cornerstone for DISW to efficiently engage with customers through a scalable business automation process that provides a high-level of transparency during every step of the sales process. Policies and processes should facilitate the transformation to SaaS based business models for DISWs direct, indirect, and digital channel.

The Policies & Processes Manager will collaborate with all parts of DISW business and report to the Sr. Director GSCS GTM and Supporting Operations responsible for Policies, Processes, Pricing and Quality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, publish, and maintain GSCS policies and (sales) processes that facilitate the SaaS transformation
  • Support the GSCS GTM pricing and business model management and collaborate with sales, product, marketing, IT, legal and finance experts to develop new SaaS business models

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • 5+ years related Software industry business experience, BA or BS degree required
  • High SaaS business acumen
  • High operational and sales process acumen
Ability to:
  • Engage with all levels of the organization for improvements and solution development
  • Collaboratively work with matrixed departments and leadership to project plan, problem-solve and deliver results
  • Translate complexity and effectively communicate to non-technical professionals
  • Work independently and drive improvements
  • Successfully influence business partners, even when holding a contrary position
  • Excellent project management, organization, and time management skills
  • Demonstrated experience communicating complex ideas in effective & efficient manor, verbally and in writing
  • Strong MS office and presentation skills
  • Amount of travel with this position is minimal

Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Good understanding of:
    • IFRS15/ASC606 software revenue recognition principles
    • Traditional Software Industry and SaaS provider compensation methods
    • SaaS provider business models
    • Traditional Software to SaaS provider transformation journey
