The CalCM Product Engineer reports to the Product Marketing Director but takes day-to-day guidance from the relevant Product Manager. The Product Engineer's role is to support Calibre Cluster Manager solution to maximize the operation efficiency of Calibre post-tape-out flow on customers' compute cluster and Cloud environments by working closely with the field teams, through close interaction with the customers and strong collaboration with other Calibre product teams. The Product Engineer's core activities include but not limited to the following:

Job Responsibilities
  • Define requirements and prioritization with the product team on Calibre Cluster Manager product development
  • Understand various product deployments in production be able to communicate customer requirements to R&D
  • File enhancement and defect reports to address product gaps and defects
  • Contribute to application development and functional validation of software solutions developed by R&D
  • Provide applications engineer training and support for product deployment
  • Demonstrate product features to customers and collect feedback about product applicability and requirements
  • Coordinate beta and product testing of new features with strategic customers
Job Qualifications
  • Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Knowledge of or courses taken in electronic design automation, Photomask or semiconductor lithography and/or semiconductor manufacturing
  • Experience in a High-Performance Computing environment with job schedulers such as LSF or grid, and Cloud / Container use cases
  • Solid understanding of various HPC concepts such as distributed processing and multi-threading, and HPC components such as compute, network and storage, or modern computer architecture
  • Ability to explain and convey technical concepts and lead discussions for requirement gathering and prioritization
  • C/C++, Python, TCL or any high level programming language; LINUX operating system along with shell scripting
  • Demonstrated ability and strong desire to learn and explore new technologies and programming methodologies
  • One or more years of industry experience is desirable
