The Intelligent Control Systems team at Siemens Engineering Services (ES) is looking for a talented engineer to enhance the current capabilities of our group. Preferred educational background is Bachelors or Masters in Computer/Electrical/Mechanical engineering with a focus on Machine Learning (ML) applied to the design of adaptive control systems. We want someone with TWO YEARS or more experience in building, training, and validation of Deep Learning (DL) models and systems. Since our group applies ML to the design of advanced controllers, fundamentals in control systems theory and design is a strong advantage.
The candidate engineer should have the following capabilities:
Experience with classical ML algorithms including those for classification, regression, clustering.
Experience with DL algorithms and network architectures (CNN, RNN, LSTM, …).
Experience with Python (Numpy) and at least one ML framework (TensorFlow (preferred), Keras, PyTorch, …).
Experience in design and implementation of machine learning models for real-world systems is an advantage.
Experience with Reinforcement Learning, Deep Reinforcement Learning and their application on Autonomous Driving systems is an advantage.
Experience in using cloud infrastructure to serve and manage large models is an advantage.
Experience with classical control techniques, including advanced nonlinear control algorithm is a plus.
