Production Manager

The Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound factory produces highly configurable ultrasound medical devices for the Healthcare market. 
Join our team now at Siemens Healthineers as a Production Manager and take the opportunity to become a part of newly starting project located in Košice. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will lead the manufacturing activities for Ultrasound.

You will be responsible for:
• Leading, planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day production operations to exceed our customers’ expectations
• Strong focus on Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Inventory
• Plan and direct needed investments to improve productivity and provide production capacity consistent with sales volume objectives and support manufacturing strategy
• Eliminate wastes, improve cycle times, reduce thru-put times in production
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Process optimizations, procedures and instruction updates in alignment with the Technical Department
• Develop new leaders, and increase employee’s competency level
• Establish and maintain a professional relationship with all employee representative levels
• Leading and motivation of employees in manufacturing (team of assembly technicians and manufacturing engineers approx. 20 FTEs)

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in medical device manufacturing a big plus.
• Experience in leading over employees in a production environment
• Managerial experience and understanding of the critical success factors in a Manufacturing/Operations environment
• Strong process mindset demonstrated in process improvement role. Lean manufacturing experience
• Result and solution oriented and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Being able to communicate at all levels in the organization
• Ability to create accountability and to lead by example
• Good command of the English language
• Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
• Collaborating well with key functions like Finance, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and other company functions
• Ability to prioritize and to work under pressure
• Participate actively during audits and customer visits
• Knowledge of MS Office; SAP is an advantage

Required education
Secondary with school-leaving examination 
Follow-up/Higher Professional Education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills
English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 1800EUR brutto /month + VAR*
