Understanding of the dynamics of introducing distributed energy resources into electric grid operations.

Ability to work with a small, fast-paced team to deliver customer value.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Willingness to travel periodically.

Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) with 6 to 8 years of experience

Understanding of power systems applications like Power Flow, Optimal Power Flow, State Estimation etc.

Experience in coding power systems methods and applications

Knowledge of energy/electricity markets and role of a market operator

Ability to understand data structures and mathematical algorithms for non-linear equations, estimation, optimization

Experience in C/C++/Python/Oracle/PL-SQL/Fortran

Ability to understand requirements and break it down into work packages

Ability to learn the application code base and design new features
