Within the Test division, we are searching for a Software Development Engineer to join our Simcenter Testlab development team in Brasov, Romania, more specifically the Time Data Acquisition team (TDA). Simcenter Testlab is a suite of engineering software applications used by companies around the globe to build, validate and solve their own products through data measurements and analysis.

The focus of the TDA team is to build the common functionalities in the Time Data Acquisition application.


As a Project Leader for TDA, you are responsible for owning the team of Software Development Engineers. you are responsible for collaborating with other Siemens team members to deliver on requirements provided by Product Management, deliver innovative products and features with fast performance and a compelling user interface based on the best suited architecture, safeguarding the quality of existing software, long-term and short/medium term product planning and applying the agile development methodology as defined in the Product Creation Process.

  • Make the planning for your team per sprint and follow-up, for the complete release cycle
  • Mentor your team members
  • Assist in analysis and design for the tasks in your team and do code reviews
  • Collaborate closely and constructively with Project Leaders of other teams
  • Collaborate closely and constructively with Product Development Managers
  • Follow the Agile development methodology
  • Master’s degree in informatics, engineering, or equivalent industrial or academic experience in software development
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to proactively identify upcoming risks, issues, and bottlenecks and resolve issues of a cross team’s nature
  • Team player with people leadership skills
  • Dynamic, stress resistant and combine analytical thinking with a result-oriented approach
