Building on our recent successes in high voltage charging to support the transition to ebus and innovative partnerships that deliver on-street EV charging from lamp posts, this role will be central to our establishment of a compelling Chargepoint Operations model for Commercial and Domestic markets.

• Handle all PM@Siemens (internal PM framework) - relevant planning elements and milestone work results according to the project category defined by the business

• Ensure project governance is robustly maintained through compliance with PM@Siemens, gateways, robust project reviews and reporting for large Projects. Ensure that Siemens Project Management Plans are in place and being updated to reflect the dynamics of the project through its lifecycle.

• Full ownership for all project phases (project engineering, procurement & manufacture, FAT, delivery, installation, SIT, SAT & final commissioning).

• Managing a team of engineering resource

• Ensuring commercial contract conditions and timelines are met, including management of contract variations.

• Representing Siemens and reflecting on actions and feedback of the customer and developing a strong customer relationship. 

• Monitor continuously the project status, early identification of discrepancies and initiates targeted actions

• Capacity planning & management to ensure the ongoing availability and optimized utilization of the human resource pool

• Lead and support the Customer FAT and FIT witness milestones

• Define procedures and requirements concerning quality management (acceptance checks, audits, etc.) according to valid Quality Management regulations and standard

• Provide ongoing monitoring and timely reporting of project status against project targets

• Coordination & direction of human resources (in-house and factory engineering) to develop efficient and optimal solutions meeting customer requirements

• Monitoring & control of the project, including necessary interventions, to ensure achievement of technical requirements, delivery milestones, timeline & quality Risk management, including development & implementation of suitable technical & commercial mitigation strategies

• Support & collaboration with Sales / Tendering during pre-sales phase of projects

• Ensuring that the necessary inputs and outputs between the functions are fully understood and detailed and delivered in accordance with the baseline programme

• Monitor progress against specific project programme and budget, identifying and mitigating diverse trends through effective corrective management action

• Ensure the implementation of the Change Management Process and the approval of any changes to scope, base lined programmes and budgets is being maintained by project managers

• Ensuring that warranty management especially closure of snagging list items, commercial closeout activities and final handover to the customer

What you need to make real what matters.

• BSC /HND in engineering discipline

• PM certification (Siemens will provide training on PM@Siemens framework) 

• Basic understanding of principals in in SCADA and Control systems, Communication protocols 

• Experience with communication protocols such as IEC 104(Modbus), MQTT, IEC61850, DNP3, DLMS

• Experience in managing portfolio of projects

• Knowledge of high voltage transmission and distribution networks

• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety best practice and associated working requirements
