Hybrid Cloud Operations Manager


The Hybrid Cloud Operations Manager will be part of a team who are managing day to day operations of Azure, AWS and On-premises environments of Siemens Healthineers.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience and general overview in Cloud and On-premises IT Operations, architecture, automation, quality assurance and maintaining services with various underlying dependencies. The Operations Manager will engage closely with DevOps and Engineering teams to deliver highly available and scalable services. The candidate should have prior experience in Hybrid Cloud operations and people management.

The Operations Manager role has overall responsibility for defining the service, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with agreed business requirements and managing the service lifecycle and other internal and external IT & business stakeholders.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • This role will be responsible for leading an operation team focusing on Hybrid Cloud services to internal businesses.
  • Involved in and manages incident, problem and change for services on day-to-day basis as per defined SLAs
  • This role will also drive service improvements initiatives across all the regions
  • Maintain services with performance and availability as per service levels committed to businesses including escalation management
  • Respond to production events in restoring services quickly and efficiently – lead root cause analysis and remediation
  • Mentor individuals and lead the team to quickly deliver customer expectations
  • Drive service team to establish and agree development priorities and development work
  • Prepare training matrix based on the career path for the team members and help them complete the trainings as planned
  • Support to achieve 100% of team goals committed
  • Understand Siemens Healthineers information security requirements and drive adherence for cloud workloads
  • Develop and maintain documentation for Hybrid Cloud systems and procedures

·       Provide senior management and service stakeholders required weekly, monthly and

quarterly reports related to service performance, SLAs etc

  • Build working relationships with business teams
  • Craft and evangelize secure cloud platform & product requirements
  • Embrace a culture of continuous service improvement and service excellence

·       Travel as needed to engage with internal and external stakeholders to oversee day-to-

day operations as well as to ensure service delivery in alignment with SHS IT strategy

·       Support successful execution with participation in organization wide IT transformation projects

  • Stay current on cloud industry trend


  • Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent       
  • Overall 15+ years experience in IT operations and minimum 5 years in Hybrid Cloud operations for large enterprises with strong operation and service management leadership
  • Vendor management experience, managing complex technology solutions
  • Knowledge of Azure security strategies and tools
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on status, progress and risks
  • Azure certification along with other security certifications is a plus
