This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Managing Editor, Technical Customer Communications  you will be responsible for:

  • Writes and edits communications on behalf of Sales Operations leadership and offers guidance and oversight for team project and organizational announcements.
  • Reports monthly document analytics, bulletin summaries for monthly franchise calls, and official procedure revisions.
  • Responsible for oversight, implementation and evolution of Technical Customer Communications (TCC) per LQSP-00001-LD; procedure owner and liaison with Product Portfolio Management (PPM) and SMEs; SharePoint management and reporting.
  • Sales Operations communications, including critical PATH BASIS document for MBR/MTA (the biannual global guidelines that allow our individual countries and regions to plan how much they’re going to sell, based on product launch schedules, service considerations, competitive environment, etc.)
  • Other ad hoc team communications as needed; DX editorial consultant.
  • Documentum/Document Library file management and stewardship, archiving and maintaining audit trail, timely responding to audit queries.

  • Super fluency in Microsoft Word and other editorial environments as needed; facility in SharePoint management. Intermediate image handling skills. Content Management System familiarity a plus.
  • Mastery of global, non-idiomatic English, in-house editorial styles and compliance needs; editorial quality control
  • Rigorous file and content organization and expertise in file/data managment

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 10+ years in the field of editing and technical communications.
  • Ability to work remote (~90%) with minimal guidance and supervision and is a mix of independent work and team collaboration.
  • Speed, flexibility, agility in working on simultaneous critical projects/initiatives.
  • Content with highly repetitive and strictly templated tasks.
  • The position is NOT a creative a communications role.
