This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Senior Director Product Management Care Areas, reporting to the Head of Ultrasound General Imaging Franchise, you will be responsible for:

  • visibly driving the overall growth of Ultrasound as a business with the product portfolio and care area programs for the General Imaging franchise
  • guaranteeing the success of the care areas programs by facilitating between engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support with the goal of meeting customer needs, growing market share and success
  • passionately driving product definition and global launches across the portfolio that exceed customer expectations while directly addressing needs
  • coaching and managing product mangers to prioritize customer requirements and collaboration with Engineering to deliver innovations to market
  • analyze customer needs, current market trends, and potential partnerships to define the product strategy and roadmap

  • You will drive the execution of all product lifecycle processes for products, including product research, market research, competitive analysis, planning, positioning, roadmap development, requirements development, and product launch
  • You will translate product strategy into customer requirements for product development by engineering teams
  • In conjunction with Commercial partners, analyze market data to develop sales strategies, and define product objectives for effective marketing communications plans
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and sales teams on the development and release of products and balance of resources to ensure success for the entire organization
  • Support product positioning and messaging that differentiates Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound and its features across primary market segments
  • You provide leadership to your direct as well as indirect teams through setting goals which are aligned with the company's core value drivers and you manage the execution of goals through coaching and mentoring
  • You will work closely with the regions and individual countries to ensure our products meet the local requirements

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Bachelor’s degree required – Product Design, Engineering, or another relevant field; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years as a Product Director or Manager with proven experience overseeing all elements of the product development, launch and commercialization
  • Experience with medical products, Ultrasound a plus
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of managing cross-functional teams; and influencing without authority 
  • Excellent business understanding capability and strong analytical skills for properly accessing ROI on investments
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
