What you will do for Russelectric:

As a Purchasing Supervisor with the world’s most respected manufacturer of automatic transfer switches and power control systems, you will be responsible for the Purchasing Operations in our Hingham plant. Your focus will be delivery reliability, asset management, and effective communication across the production area. Your work will help bring to market specialized equipment that makes the world a safer and more reliable place: think hospitals, data centers, utilities, mass transportation, and other aspects of life as we know it that need reliable power systems. You will provide solutions to the world’s growing need for dependable critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Purchasing Team.
  • Supervise your team to ensure efficient and safe operations.
  • Develop your team by ensuring proper training, day-to-day coaching, and certifications are completed.
  • Recommend and implement technology to manage the purchasing processes, material flow, productivity results, and inventory.
  • Manage vendor relationships and planning function to ensure timely deliveries and on time compliance.
  • Maintain SAP accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or international equivalent, 4 years' supervision experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong cognitive skills, including problem analysis, decision making, financial and quantitative analysis.
  • Must be well versed in SAP.
  • Proven strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex technology concepts.
  • Experience working with external customers and representatives.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, working with direct and matrixed resources to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable growth
  • Ability to adapt to change quickly.
  • Must thrive on change and continuous improvement in our complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
