Siemens Mobility Customer Service is seeking a highly motivated, entrepreneurial, and dedicated Project Manager to manage the technical support services for a fleet of our Charger Locomotives. You will lead the maintenance project through the execution phase and are responsible for fulfilling all requirements from the customer contract. Ideally, you will have led projects in the same or similar industries and can lead a cross-functional team. Reporting to the Project Director, you will have broad autonomy to reach the results of the Service Project (Budget, Schedule, Quality) and assume the responsibility for EHS in the project.

What your day-to-day will look like:
  • Responsible for profit & loss for the maintenance contract. Monitor P&L trends and outcomes of assigned project(s).
  • Lead discussions and negotiations around changes in scope, cost, and schedule. Devise contingency plans and modification planning.
  • Drive the schedule for service mobilization, project landmarks, material delivery, and acceptance.
  • Initiate strategic project activities for engineering and procurement and actions for service startups.
  • Promote a Zero Harm culture through the development, implementation, review, and communication of EH&S Policies and Procedures at the local level.
  • Prepare and deliver monthly project reports, customer progress reports, customer change proposals, and presentations to management and internal and external partners.
  • Track and optimize the defined metrics from the service contract throughout the project (reliability, availability, safety, etc.).
  • Ensure field data acquisition and data analysis during maintenance and overhaul.
To thrive in this role, you have:
  • Proven experience in Sales or Project Management and, as a minimum, in other functional area like Service, Commissioning, or Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of maintenance management, familiarity with the locomotive industry, equipment, terminology, and regulatory obligations.
  • Demonstrates a good understanding of digitalization and automation.
  • Leadership experience managing a PM team to include collaboration with international project teams.
  • Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering) or equivalent technical graduation.
  • PMP® or PM@Siemens certified or can get certification within twelve months of hire.
  • Completed Project Management Training
  • Written and verbal German language skills are strongly preferred.
