Sr. Logistics: Supply Chain Design and Engineering Specialist

Job Description

Purpose of the Job:
Contribute in the efficiency and sustainability of our Supply Chain to optimize processes, fulfill Customer demands and adjust with lean and agile activities our supply processes to adapt it to the market situation. 

- Lead key strategic program/project oriented to improve customer satisfaction and cost optimization.

- Run continues improvement ideas collection and coordinate their evaluation and implementation with the process owners.

- Analyze our supply chain and market demands to identify potential projects.

- Document and present potential business cases for the different initiatives to evaluate.

- Lead the implementation of  3 or 4 high impact Supply Chain projects per year.

- Ensure our Lean activities are oriented with our Business objectives and Logistics strategies.

- Support and coordination of the implementation of changes in our supply chain related to logistics processes, business demand or other areas initiatives.

Skills and competences:

* Strong interpersonal skills with the availability to clearly communicate and influence team members from different areas.

* Bachelor´ss degree with focus on Supply Chain / Project Management.

* 3+ years in Logistics Functions.

* Strong use of Microsoft Office tools for data analysis, presentations and project management.

* Working knowledge of SAP

* Ability to work across complex teams & time zones.

* Negotiation skills and experience in dealing with material suppliers, freight forwarders and customs brokers.

* Excellent analytical, organizational and high self discipline and time management

* Fluent in English
