Machine Operator- MIT/TIG Welder, Level 3 - 3rd Shift - Roebuck, SC

Job Description


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS                                            

Ensure material flow through the line 
Cover any position in the line                            
Understands and ensures schedule is followed as planned                                
Reports of any shortage to GL or Supervisor to prevent a stop in production                  
Work along with materials and other production areas to receive the right mix of material based on the schedule                        
Supports GL and Supervisor with the cross training activities                            
Back up for Group Lead as needed                               
Realize 5S audits and propose corrective actions to GL / Sup                            
Co-leads the CIP activities / projects                            
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Must have high school diploma or GED                            
Minimum 3 years in manufacturing environment                        
Basic Computer skills 
SAP Knowledge for confirmations and lookup material.                         
Must be able to reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push / pull / slide material
Must become respirator fit tested to spray powder paint
Must have 6 points or less for attendance (internal)
Must have knowledge/experience working in a paint department
Must be willing to work necessary overtime
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

Able to perform titration training for ISO compliance.
SAP or DMM experience
Previous leadership experience.
