About the role

Become part of our sales team in Czech Republic as a Principal Business Consultant for digital transformation of strategic customers in the Automotive, Industrial Machinery, Heavy Equipment, Electronics or/and Process Industry. Our future colleague can be based in Prague but also elsewhere in Czech republic, we are flexible about the location.

What will be your responsibilities?

  • Advise selected strategic customers in your focus industries on the digital transformation of their business landscape, with the aim of sustainably expanding revenue and relationships with our customers.
  • Lead and complete industry focused, prescriptive and value-driven software sales engagements (typically large size engagements) through insightful business relationships with customers and prospects.
  • Build trusted adviser status by communicating knowledgeably with the customer around business challenges, industry trends & business processes, competitor landscapes and wider value chain, through the delivery of thought leadership presentations and workshops.
  • Develop customer relationships through remote selling and face-to-face visits to facilitate future software sales. Works on projects/assignments of broad and complex scope. Provide guidance and mentoring within country to others on the capabilities and business value DISW solutions.
  • Work with the Portfolio Development team to identify customer needs, barriers to success and aspirations to support the development of business cases and with the PreSales technical team to deliver completing product demonstrations that show the value of the Siemens Digital Enterprise portfolio.
  • Provide mentorship to Account Managers around industry challenge
  • Collaborate with your management and your teammates, develop and drive internal initiatives that positively influence further business growth within your market.

Who Are We Looking For?

Someone who understands the potential of leveraging software solutions at a business operations level, who can articulate that value in business terms. An individual that has held an active leadership role within a business transformation and/or a continuous improvement function would be highly advantageous.

  • Validated experience within the specific Industries (Automotive, A&D, Machinery, Electronics etc.)
  • Consolidated experience (ideally >5 years) in a customer-facing sale, or business development function in a Software or Business consulting company or leading managerial role in industrial company
  • Ability to understand, position and present the value of end-to-end digital transformation in the context of an Industry
  • Experience with CXO level discussions, and specifically with the CTO and COO
  • Familiarity with business software solutions e.g. ERP, PLM, MOM etc.
  • A good communicator with brilliant presentation skills, fluent in Czech (or Slovak) and English
  • Excellent relationship management
  • Leadership and project management skill, ability to define and track structured work plans and work in collaboration with internal international teams, in a consultative and directive mode of working
